Strays Motorcycle Club Poker Run 2010 |

The Strays Motorcycle Club recently held
a Poker Run to benefit the Ohio
Veterans' Memorial Park. They had about
60 bikes and 80 people. We raised over $
500.00 just in personal donations |

July 25th, 2010 was a very special day
for the Ohio Veterans' Memorial Park. We
were honored to be there for the
dedication of the "Cuyahoga Falls
Thirteen" bench. The family and friends
of the thirteen young men who lost their
lives during the Vietnam War dedicated a
bench in their honor and memory. |

MIA Reflection Pond & Eternal Flame was
dedicated on November 13, 2010. We had
many friends join us, including three
former POWs. We also had two very
special donations, a large cash
donations from our friends of the
Wadsworth 13 and a seal donation
from Rolling Thunder. |

Northwest High School SWORD 2011 |

| We
want to thank The Northwest Class of 2011. On August 21, 2011
thirty-five students from Northwest joined us at the park and spent
the morning cleaning the park, mulching, moving dirt, planting
flowers, mowing and just about everything else that needed done.
They accomplished in a few hours, what would have taken us weeks.

Bill Pilati Brick Dedication |

| The
Pilati's family joined us on May 21, 2011 to dedicate a memorial
paver in honor of Bill Pilati, a US Army WWII Veteran. He served in
Europe from 1943 to 1946. Mr. Pilati was also celebrating
his 86th birthday! We were honored to be part of this service. |

| Thank you to The Veterans Of
Tuscarawas County. A beautiful bench was dedicated to The Ohio
Veterans' Memorial Park on May 21, 2011. We were pleased to see so
many veteran organizations come together for this great service. We
were honored to host veterans from WWII to the current wars in Iraq
and Afghanistan, and all branches of service were represented. |

On
Saturday, June 11, 2011 The Ohio
Veterans' Memorial Park was proud to
host a service for a number of area
motorcycle clubs. We were joined by the
Strays M.C. of Barberton and Cleveland,
Sons of God, Born Free and 5th Chapter.
This was their second year conducting
services at the park.
We would
like to say thank you to The Strays
Motorcycle Club, Sons of God, Born Free
and all of the others who attended.

We had a
great time, even with the rain! Four
large downpours finally caused us to
give-in about 7:00 pm but it was well
worth it! We made many new friends and
contacts within the veteran and military
community and look forward to a dryer
concert next year! |
