We
want to thank The Northwest Class of 2011. On August 21, 2011
thirty-five students from Northwest joined us at the park and spent
the morning cleaning the park, mulching, moving dirt, planting
flowers, mowing and just about everything else that needed done.
They accomplished in a few hours, what would have taken us weeks.
THANK YOU!We also really
enjoyed the music. The students learned that a visitor, Bill Pilati,
at the park that morning was a WWII veteran and was also celebrating
his 86th birthday. Mr. Pilati's family had purchased a memorial
paver for him. The students all joined in on the dedication of the
paver and then sang Happy Birthday to him.
We have received many
compliments on how well the park looks. We sincerely
appreciate all of you helping us with the park.
Congratulations on you
graduation and we look forward to seeing you all out
there again soon.
